Our chief surveyor, Ian Wood, participated in the Sino American International Survey Competition that began on November 13th. The teams represented NSPS and the Beijing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. The competition was broken into a “field” exercises component and a theoretical component. The NSPS team won the “field” portion and the Chinese team won the “theoretical” portion. The Chinese team won overall.
Ian told us that the competition was a lot of fun. He really enjoyed getting to know other participants from both teams. Team leaders are discussing ways to continue the competition.
