    Weekend Work at LVIA

Horizon Engineering’s Survey crews worked non-stop this last weekend at the Lehigh Valley International Airport.  Working with James D. Morrissey, Inc. as their surveyor, the work involved establishing baselines for the runway striping and lights.  Our work was part of a critical construction project for the intersection of the two main runways.  Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority closed the airport for 52 hours to complete this work. The project is part of a long-term $80 million runway renovation project.
